Dr. Patrick Dolcé is a Medical Microbiologist and Infectious Disease Specialist at CSSS Rimouski-Neigette, where he has been working since 1992. From then on, his implication in the field has been substantial. He was Physician in Charge of Infection Control, President of the Infection Control Committee and of the Disciplinary Board.
At the provincial level, Dr. Dolcé was a member of the Comité des infections nosocomiales du Québec (CINQ) from 1999 to 2000 and acting president in 2001. Since 1998, he presides the Louis Pasteur Committee at the Association des médecins microbiologistes infectiologues du Québec and was President of the Infection Control Committee from 1999 to 2004.
From 2002 to 2005, Dr. Dolcé was a member of the Continuing Professional Development Committee at the Association of Medical Microbiology and Infectious Disease Canada (AMMI Canada) and an examiner for the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
Currently, he is Head of the Microbiology and Infectology Department, co-chairman of the Table Régionale de Prévention des Infections Nosocomiales de la Gaspésie/Îles-de-la-Madeleine and member of the CALI (Comité des analyses de laboratoire en lien avec les ITSS), the INSPQ multidisciplinary committee.
His clinical research on approximately twenty projects received attention at provincial, national and international symposiums. He received the Lindsay-Nicolle Award in 2004 for the best publication in the Canadian Journal of Medical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases.
He founded Nosotech in 2007 to develop IT solutions for the management of healthcare-associated infections and antimicrobial stewardship programs.
Mr. Lamontagne is a Université du Québec à Rimouski computer science graduate and was awarded NSERC Fellow in 2004 as part of his master's degree. He has over 20 years of business experience, 15 of which are in software development in education, management systems and health. He is the driving force behind Nosotech's applications and co-founder of the company along with Dr. Patrick Dolcé. Since 2002, he is a lecturer at UQAR’s Department of Computer Science.
With a degree in administration from the Université du Québec à Rimouski, Mr. Bellavance has over 25 years of experience in management, more specifically in marketing, business development, strategic planning and technical innovation. From 1990 to 1997, he worked as an administrator for Groupe Bellavance where he was responsible for the development in publishing and computer graphics. In 1997, he joined QuébecTel that would later become TELUS. There he was successively Commodity Analyst, Marketing Director and Director of Strategic Planning. From 2007 to 2013, he worked in economic development with the Société de promotion économique de Rimouski and then the Technopole maritime du Québec where he introduced a national and international development plan to help position Québec among the leaders in marine science and technology. He is Nosotech’s General Manager since February 2014.
Gervais Deschênes is a Nursing graduate whose 28 years of experience in infection control and prevention has lead him to become an authority in his field. In addition to his diploma Mr. Deschênes has consistently demonstrated his dedication to his field through numerous appreciation trainings and continuing education. He joined Nosotech in 2008 and was actively involved in all implementations of our solutions, making him one of the leading experts in the province in infection prevention IT systems. He is recognized by his peers as a tutor and advisor. He is known for his professionalism, his attention to detail and his preoccupation for customers' needs and satisfaction.
